SocialAtoZ ("we", "us", "our") makes the mobile game Mahjong Teahouse: Tile Match (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Summary
You do not need an account to play, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number or address.
Game progress is stored on your device.
Our advertising, analytics and crash-reporting partners collect some device information automatically, as described below.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
You can change your ad and privacy choices at any time in the App's Settings → Privacy and in your device settings.
2. Information we collect
a) Information you give us. If you email our support team, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
b) Information collected automatically. When you use the App, we and our service providers may collect:
Device and app information: device model, operating system version, language, country/region (derived from device settings or approximate IP address), app version, and screen size.
Identifiers: the Android Advertising ID (AAID), the Firebase installation ID, and similar pseudonymous identifiers.
Gameplay and usage data: levels played, session length, features used, hints used, and in-app purchase events. Purchase events do not include your payment details.
Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data.
Advertising data: ad impressions, clicks, and interactions with ads.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data.
3. How we use information
To run the App, save your progress and provide its features
To show ads, including personalized ads where you have agreed to them, and to limit how often ads repeat
To process and restore in-app purchases (through Google Play)
To understand how players use the App so we can fix bugs, balance levels and improve the game
To detect fraud and abuse, and to keep the App secure
To reply to support requests
To meet our legal obligations
4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
We rely on: (a) consent for personalized advertising and non-essential analytics, which you can withdraw at any time; (b) performance of a contract to provide the App and your purchases; (c) our legitimate interests in keeping the App secure, fixing crashes and improving the game; and (d) legal obligations.
5. Third-party services
The App uses the third-party services below. Each one processes data under its own privacy policy:
Edit this table to match the SDKs your App actually uses.
6. Advertising and your choices
The App is free and supported by ads. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the App asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform (a certified consent management platform under the IAB TCF). You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy → Ad preferences. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.
On any Android device you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, under Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads). You can remove ads completely with the optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. Rewarded ads that you choose to watch may still be offered.
7. In-app purchases
Google Play handles all payments. We never receive or store your card number or other payment details. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase (such as the order ID and product) so we can deliver the item.
8. Sharing of information
We share information only: (a) with the service providers listed above, who act for us or as independent controllers under their own policies; (b) if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users or the public; or (c) as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this Policy continues to apply. We do not sell personal information for money.
9. Data retention
Game progress stays on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Analytics data is kept for up to [14] months. Crash data is kept for up to 90 days. Support emails are kept for up to [24] months. Our partners' retention periods are set out in their own policies.
10. Data security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, such as 16 in some EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at info.socialatoz@gmail.com and we will delete it.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent.
EEA/UK (GDPR): you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states: you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To opt out, turn off personalized ads in the App or in your device settings. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Brazil (LGPD), India (DPDP Act), Canada (PIPEDA), Japan (APPI), Korea (PIPA) and similar laws: you have equivalent rights under your local law.
To make a request, email info.socialatoz@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". To delete data held by our analytics provider, include your in-app Player ID (Settings → About). We will respond within 30 days, or within the time your local law requires.
13. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If the changes are significant, we will also notify you in the App.
